Experienced Casual Warehouse Storeperson

Two weekdays per week | 5–6 hours per day | $40 per hour plus super

We are looking for an experienced, reliable Warehouse Storeperson to join our team on a casual basis.

This position may particularly suit an experienced warehouse qualified seeking a steady, flexible role later in their career. It offers regular weekday hours, independent responsibility and the chance to remain active while contributing valuable practical experience.

Hours

Initially, the position will involve:
Two days per week
Approximately 5–6 hours per day
Days to be selected from Wednesday, Thursday and Friday by mutual agreement
Additional hours when assistance is required to unload containers

Key responsibilities
Pick and prepare customer orders for the following week
Perform cyclic stock counts and maintain accurate stock records
Organise stock and maintain an orderly warehouse
Identify and report low-stock items
Operate a forklift safely when required
Assist with unloading containers
Help maintain a safe, clean and productive working environment

About you To succeed in this role, you will have:
Previous experience in a warehouse storeperson or similar role
A current forklift licence and practical forklift-operating experience




Sound judgment and the ability to make sensible decisions independently
Strong attention to detail and a methodical approach
Good stock-control and organisational skills
A dependable, responsible and safety-conscious attitude
The physical capacity to remain active and safely perform light lifting
The ability to work effectively with minimal supervision

Pay and classification
$40 per hour, including casual loading
Superannuation paid in addition
Applicable overtime and penalty rates paid in accordance with the relevant award
Indicative classification: Storeworker Grade 3 under the Storage Services and Wholesale Award 2020 (MA000084)
