Dementia-Focused Support Workers – Casual staff Only
Solid Holistic Care is expanding our dedicated team! We are currently seeking compassionate, reliable and experienced Support Workers who have a genuine passion for supporting participants living with Dementia.

About the Role In this role, you will support participants with varying dementia presentations in their daily living, ensuring they feel protected, understood and empowered. Responsibilities may include:
Providing daily living assistance (personal care, meal prep, routines)
Behaviour support–aligned, low-stimulation, structured care
Building meaningful connections through patience and empathy
Supporting participants to engage in activities aligned with their cognitive stage
Implementing dementia-friendly strategies and communication approaches
Working collaboratively with families, coordinators and the broader care team
Have previous experience supporting individuals with Dementia
Are calm, consistent and confident in complex care environments
Understand dementia progression and trauma-informed practice
Have robust communication and emotional regulation skills
Are reliable, flexible and committed to participant safety and wellbeing
Experience in supporting individuals with a dementia diagnosis
Police Check, NDIS Worker Screening Check, Working with Children Check
Current First Aid & CPR Certificate
Driver’s License & access to fully insured vehicle
NDIS Worker Orientation Module Certificate
