We are seeking an experienced Senior Contracts Officer to join a high-performing Research team responsible for managing a diverse portfolio of research and commercial agreements. In this role, you will work with a broad range of internal and external stakeholders to facilitate successful research outcomes while ensuring contracts are legally compliant and commercially appropriate with relevant requirements.

What you'll be doing:
Drafting, reviewing and negotiating research, funding, collaboration and commercial agreements.
Providing expert advice on contractual, legal, intellectual property and compliance matters.
Identifying and managing contractual, financial and commercial risks.
Building strong relationships with researchers, professional staff, legal advisers and external partners.
Supporting contract implementation, compliance obligations and issue resolution throughout the contract lifecycle.
Contributing to process improvements, contract reporting and stakeholder training.

About You
Demonstrated experience drafting, reviewing and negotiating complex agreements.
Strong knowledge of contractual risk management, compliance and intellectual property matters.
Excellent communication, negotiation and stakeholder engagement skills.
Solid organisational skills with the ability to manage competing priorities and deadlines.
A proactive, solutions-focused approach and a commitment to delivering high-quality outcomes.
A strong attention to detail and skill for research.
