Nowra (SIL) is High Physical Support, Supported Independent Living service and home to five long-standing clients living within a large residence surrounded by expansive grounds.

Reporting to the Cluster Manager, you’ll lead our SIL and empower Support Workers to deliver high‑quality support to clients with intellectual and psychosocial disabilities, including complex mental health. You’ll drive effective processes, champion risk and safety, identify issues early, and take timely action to resolve or escalate so clients can work toward their independent living goals.

Best suited to someone who has previosley stepped into an Acting SM position and can maintain stability on‑site and within the team while adapting to change.

Hourly rate ranges from $45.78 to $49.26 based on experience

Responsibilities:
Lead and mentor Support Workers with consistency and professionalism
Promote person-centred, active support that empowers client choice and control
Stay connected through two billable shifts each week
Oversee daily operations of SIL accommodation services
Foster a positive, protected, and inclusive workplace for staff and clients
Support NDIS plan development and client independence
Manage performance and resolve conflicts effectively
Encourage reflective practice to drive continuous improvement
