We’re looking for an experienced Maintenance Technician who enjoys getting stuck into a challenge and keeping plant and production equipment running at its best.
This is a hands-on role where no two days are exactly the same. You’ll be troubleshooting faults, carrying out preventative maintenance and working closely with the production team to keep downtime to a minimum.
What you’ll be doing
Keeping fixed plant and production equipment running smoothly
Tackling breakdowns and carrying out preventative maintenance
Finding and fixing mechanical, hydraulic and pneumatic faults
Using your problem-solving skills to get equipment back up and running
Completing maintenance work safely and to a high standard
Keeping accurate records of repairs and maintenance
Working with the production team to prevent unnecessary downtime
What you’ll bring
Cert III in Engineering – Mechanical Trade (or equivalent)
EWP, Working at Heights and LF Forklift licences
Experience maintaining industrial or manufacturing equipment
Robust mechanical fault-finding skills
Experience with hydraulic and pneumatic systems
Confident using hand and power tools
Welding experience
A strong focus on safety
Valuable organisation and time management
Outstanding communication skills and a team-first attitude
Bonus points
Experience with a CMMS or asset management system
Restricted Electrical Licence
