This is an all-round role within a small construction crew, working directly under our Construction Foreman. The role is intended to develop into a robust second-in-command position. You will support the Foreman with day-to-day site operations, help coordinate other crew members, maintain quality and productivity standards, identify what needs to happen next and take responsibility when required.

About you
Solid landscape construction, building, carpentry, concreting or similar trade experience
Physically capable, punctual, organised and able to work independently without needing constant direction
Comfortable doing whatever is required to move the project forward, whether that means completing detailed construction work, operating machinery, moving materials, helping another crew member or cleaning and preparing the site
Willing to contribute across all aspects of landscape construction, including skilled work, general labouring, site preparation, material handling, clean-up and helping keep the crew organised and productive
Previous leadership experience is highly regarded, but capability and attitude to develop into a leadership position is also valued
Takes ownership of their work, notices problems before they become problems and understands that quality, efficiency, presentation and teamwork all matter
