We are seeking an experienced and commercially driven Business Development Manager to join our growing team in Canberra, with a strong focus on Australian Defence, Government, IT and Satellite Communications (SATCOM) markets.

This is an prospect for a relationship-focused business development professional who understands the Defence and Commonwealth procurement workplace and knows how to turn relationships, market intelligence and customer requirements into genuine commercial opportunities.

You will be responsible for identifying and developing recent business, building trusted relationships across Defence and Government, and positioning our capabilities with customers, primes and strategic partners.





About the Role

Reporting to senior management, you will take ownership of business development activities across the Defence, IT and SATCOM sectors.

Your responsibilities will include:

Developing and executing business development strategies aligned with company growth objectives.
Identifying recent opportunities across Australian Defence, Commonwealth Government, Defence Primes and the broader defence industry.
Building and maintaining strong relationships with key Defence, Government, industry and technology stakeholders.
Developing sales pipelines, account plans and capture strategies.

Monitoring Defence and Government procurement activity, tenders, programs and emerging capability requirements.
