What your day looks like:

/n

/n
Manage the performance and availability of equipment to achieve both operational and financial company objectives.

/n
Manage and co-ordinate employees and facilities to ensure preventative maintenance and breakdown repairs are performed in a timely, cost effective and professional manner.

/n
Monitor and ensure the necessary manning levels and equipment are available to perform the planned tasks.

/n
Ensure project reporting is completed: monthly project progress reports to the client and internally including safety, performance, manning, and QA/QC.

/n
Take responsibility for maximising the performance of the maintenance team, providing leadership and technical support.

/n
Support site-based HR activities including recruitment of potential employees.

/n
Actively demonstrate and promote a high level of safety awareness and encourage protected work practices

Working with Emeco customers and stakeholders to meet larger organisational objectives.

/n/n

What we'll need from you:

/n

/n
A relevant, nationally recognised Trade certificate, holding extensive experience with the maintenance of heavy earth moving equipment frequently utilised within the mining industry.

/n
Mining Supervisor Certifications – G1, G8, G9 and G2.

/n
Standard 11 Competency.

/n
Minimum 5 years heavy workshop and field maintenance experience in a managerial capacity, being a strong leader with the ability to mentor, coach, and delegate tasks

/n
Ability to influence and communicate effectively across all layers of an organisation and with any stakeholder group.

/n
Set and implement explicit standards of integrity, consistently dedemostrating behaviours supporting organisational values and address inappropriate behaviour actions.

/n
Proven solid client management and liaison skills, holding a good understanding of customer operations and equipment usage.

/n
Knowledge of what drives equipment productivity in the mining environment.

/n
Solid understanding of HSET standards within QLD mining.
