Its portfolio includes fast-paced fit-outs, refurbishments and complex new-build developments for recognised retail clients. With a strong pipeline of secured work, the business is seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead multiple retail projects from preconstruction through to handover.

The Role

Reporting to the Construction Manager, you will take responsibility for the commercial, operational and programming performance of your projects.

Your responsibilities will include:
Managing retail fit-out and recent-build projects from inception to completion
Developing and maintaining construction programs and budgets
Leading Site Managers, Contract Administrators and project teams
Coordinating clients, consultants, subcontractors and authorities
Managing procurement, contracts, variations and progress claims
Overseeing design development and buildability reviews
Monitoring project costs, cash flow and financial reporting




Identifying project risks and implementing practical solutions
Ensuring safety, quality and environmental standards are maintained
Managing project completion, defects and final handover

About You

To be considered, you will ideally have:
Proven experience as a Project Manager with a commercial builder
Experience delivering retail fit-out, refurbishment or recent-build projects
Strong commercial, contractual and programming knowledge
The ability to manage rapid-paced projects within live settings
Experience leading site and contract administration teams
Strong client, consultant and subcontractor relationships
Relevant construction management, engineering or building qualifications
A proactive, organised and solutions-focused approach
