Tasman Cargo Airlinesis seeking enthusiastic and reliable individuals to join our team asDuty Managerswithin theOperations Coordination Centre (OCC)in acasual capacity.
This role offers flexibility and is suited to those who can step in during periods of peak operational demand, and coverage for periods of leave and absences.
While shifts are not guaranteed on a regular schedule, we are looking for team members who can be available for up to full-time hours, particularly during training, busy periods, and other operational needs.
We are looking for someone with strong problem-solving skills, resilience, and the ability to positively influence team culture.
The OCC team operates in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment, and we need adaptable leaders to drive change and continuous improvement.

About the Role
Reporting to theHead of Operations Coordination Centre (HOCC), this role places you at the centre ofairline operations: coordinating flights, managing disruptions, and keeping our network running smoothly.
You'll also have the prospect to develop and refine operational tools, processes, and systems to drive efficiency, improve workflows, and help modernise the way the team operates.
What You Will Do
Manage flight coordination- keeping our network running smoothly.
Prepare & distribute key operational documents- ensure accurate, efficient communication.
Monitor flights & lead disruption management- make critical decisions under pressure.
Engage with pilots, ground staff, leadership & external stakeholders- ensuring smooth collaboration.
Develop and improve operational tools & workflows- introduce smarter, more efficient ways of working.

Who We Are Looking For
You will have at least one of the following:
A qualification inAviation, Airline Managementor any related field; or
ACPL/PPL; or
At least1 year of experiencein airline operations or another transport industry operational role; or/and
Crew control/rostering experience.
Ideally, you will also bring:
Resilienceand apositive, adaptable mindset
Strongproblem-solving skills, ability tomanage disruptions
Familiarity withMicrosoft Suite
A passion for process improvement, and excitement aboutmodernising operational workflows.
Eligibility requirements
Must have full working rights in Australia, and meet all airport security/vaccination requirements.
Willingness to complete aPre-Employment Drug & Alcohol Screenand provide a currentPolice Clearance.
