This role is offered at Band 2, you will need to be available to complete the 12 weeks Induction / Training at full time hours.
Applicants must be able to work the variety of shift patterns in Theatres, as fixed shifts (for example, nights and weekends only) are not currently available.
You will not be allocated any nights or weekends for at least 6 months and is dependent on availability.
Once you have successfully completed the National Care Certificate Training, you will be moved to a Band 3 Theatre Support Worker.

This advert is for the Band 2 entry-level pathway only.
Student visa holders: We can only offer a full-time permanent contract if you have successfully completed your course, you will ned to have either applied for, or obtained, a Graduate Visa before your anticipated start date.
As a Theatre Support Worker, you will assist with patient care and other departmental related duties as directed by Registered Theatre Practitioner.
We expect you to carry out several duties including but not limited to cleaning the theatre between cases, helping with stock management and ensuring safety in theatres.

You will have the opportunity to really make a difference to the experience of patients.
Full time and part time posts will be considered, and shifts include long days, nights, weekends, and public holidays.
Our TSW's will need the flexibility to cover varied shift patterns.

CUH provides a comprehensivefour-week Clinical Support Staff Induction Programme, together with support to achieve theNational Care Certificate.
This programme is designed to help you settle into the organisation and become a valued member of the clinical team.
Please note thatattendance on all four weeks of the induction programme is mandatory.
