A renowned SA food manufacturing business with a strong reputation for internal recognition of their people and excellent training is rapidly growing.
This is a great opportunity for an experienced Team Leader, Leading Hand or Supervisor looking to take the next step in their career, with structured training and support provided.
Your Role
As a hands-on Team Leader, you'll support and lead the production team on the factory floor, ensuring products are produced safely, efficiently and to the required quality standards.
Duties include:
Leading, motivating and supporting the production team
Scheduling orders for production and ensuring raw materials used are accurate and in line with customer and industry expectations
Monitoring team performance and providing coaching and feedback
Maintaining a positive, safe and collaborative team culture
Supporting continuous improvement initiatives
Working closely with Quality, Maintenance, Warehouse and Engineering teams




Managing competing priorities in a fast-paced production environment
About You
You might be a future leader in Food Production or an existing Team Leader, but most importantly you enjoy working with people and know how to motivate a team to achieve results.
You'll also demonstrate:
Food manufacturing, GMP, HACCP or food safety knowledge is advantageous, but not essential
Previous experience leading, coordinating or supervising a production team
Strong communication and organisational skills
Ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment
Solid commitment to safety, quality and teamwork

This is a full-time, on-site position.
