Primary School Teacher – Flexible short-term and long-term opportunities available immediately
These flexible opportunities are ideal for Primary School Teachers who enjoy variety and want to make a positive impact across different primary school settings.
You will be supporting pupils in Northampton and the surrounding areas, delivering high-quality teaching across EYFS, KS1, or KS2, depending on school requirements.
Duties as Primary School Teacher:
Deliver engaging and well-structured lessons in line with the primary curriculum
Adapt teaching approaches to meet the needs of pupils with varying abilities
Create a positive, inclusive, and well-managed classroom environment
Support pupils' academic, social, and emotional development
Implement effective behaviour management strategies in line with school policies
Assess and record pupil progress where required
Work collaboratively with teaching assistants and wider staff teams
Contribute positively to wider school life during longer-term placements
Ideal Primary School Teacher:
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
Confident teaching across EYFS, KS1, or KS2
Robust classroom and behaviour management skills
Adaptable across different schools and year groups
Positive, organised, and committed to high-quality teaching
Strong communication and teamwork skills
Commitment to safeguarding and promoting pupil welfare
