Provide a high standard of nursing care for inpatients and outpatients undergoing diagnostic and interventional radiological procedures
Service private hospitals and community-based clinics in the Geelong region
Provide pre-, peri- and post-examination care for patients undergoing General X-ray, CT, MRI, Ultrasound, Nuclear Medicine and Fluoroscopy
Respond effectively in emergency situations
Work independently and within a multidisciplinary team
Contribute as a key team member in a specialised medical imaging environment
Requirements
Current AHPRA registration
COVID vaccination essential as per Victorian Government requirements
Cannulation qualification required; training support provided to achieve this outcome
Solid patient-centred care approach
Ability to effectively build patient relationships
Strong organisational, communication, interpersonal and time-management skills
Ability to respond effectively in emergency situations
Ability to work independently and within a multidisciplinary team
Radiology experience desired but not essential; on-the-job training provided
