School-Based Electrical Apprenticeship
This is a unique opportunity to kick-start your trade career while completing your SACE at school.
Working two days per week (Wednesday and Friday), you will gain hands on experience alongside highly experienced tradespeople, learn from industry experts and develop practical skills in a modern manufacturing environment.
Your trade training will contribute towards your SACE, allowing you to continue your education while building a nationally recognised qualification and getting a head start on your future career.
About You
Commenced a Certificate II in Electrotechnology
Completed work experience in an electrical trade, engineering or manufacturing environment
An interest in technology, machinery and how things work




A sound level of literacy and numeracy and the ability to apply these skills in a practical environment
Demonstrated commitment through school, sport, part-time work, volunteering or community involvement
Strong attendance record, reliability and a positive attitude towards learning
A willingness to embrace new challenges and work safely as part of a team
Most importantly, you are motivated to learn, take initiative and develop the skills needed for a successful trade career.
As part of the selection process, applicants must be prepared to undergo a pre-employment medical assessment which includes functional, audiometric, drug and alcohol testing.
