Pearson Carter are currently working with an established multidisciplinary Building Services Engineering consultancy with offices in Melbourne and Adelaide.
They deliver high-quality mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic engineering solutions across a diverse range of building projects.
Due to continued growth, they are looking to hire a Senior Mechanical Services Engineer to take ownership of mechanical design and project delivery, with a genuine pathway toward becoming a Mechanical Discipline Lead.
They offer an excellent salary package of 120K–170K Super profit share hybrid working and strong long-term career development.
Responsibilities
Lead mechanical and HVAC design across building services projects
Deliver designs from concept through to detailed documentation
Undertake engineering calculations and spatial coordination
Coordinate with clients, architects, contractors, and consultants
Attend project meetings and site inspections
Support construction-stage delivery and resolve technical issues




Mentor junior and intermediate engineers
Take increasing ownership of mechanical discipline delivery
Experience
Senior-level Mechanical Building Services / HVAC experience
Strong consulting and design experience
Ability to deliver mechanical designs from concept through to completion
Experience across multiple building sectors
Robust engineering calculations and documentation skills
Experience with multidisciplinary coordination
Strong client-facing and stakeholder management skills
Previous Tier 1 or Tier 2 consultancy experience preferred

Location
Melbourne, Australia (1 day WFH, predominantly office-based)
