Situated on Exmouth's stunning seafront, The Deck Restaurant is one of East Devon's most popular dining destinations.

breathtaking views, a relaxed atmosphere, and a reputation for excellent food and service, we're looking for a Restaurant Team
Leader to help lead our front-of-house team and deliver an exceptional guest experience.

WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING
You'll play a key role in the day-to-day operation of the restaurant, supporting the management team and leading shifts to ensure
smooth, efficient service.
Responsibilities include:
Leading and supporting the front-of-house team during service
Delivering exceptional customer experiences from arrival through to departure
Creating a welcoming and professional atmosphere for guests
Supporting with team training, coaching, and onboarding
Coordinating busy lunch, dinner, and event services
Acting as a point of contact for customer queries and team support
Encouraging excellent menu knowledge and confident upselling
Maintaining high standards of presentation, cleanliness, and service delivery
Supporting stock control, cash handling, and daily operational tasks
Handling customer feedback and resolving issues professionally and positively
WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR
We're looking for someone with energy, enthusiasm, and a genuine passion for hospitality.
You'll have:
Previous experience in a restaurant, café, bar, or hospitality environment
Experience supervising or leading a team
A friendly, approachable, and professional manner




A strong focus on customer service and guest satisfaction
Excellent communication and organisational skills
The ability to remain calm and effective during busy periods
A positive, proactive attitude with a willingness to support others
Passion for food, drink, and creating memorable dining experiences
A desire to learn, develop, and progress within the hospitality industry
