About Central Gippsland Health
Central Gippsland Health (CGH) is a sub-regional health service and the major provider of health and aged care services in the Wellington Shire.
CGH is located in the City of Sale which is 215 km east of Melbourne.
The City of Sale is an ideal access point for the magnificent Gippsland Lakes, 90 Mile Beach and the Victorian Alps.
CGH provides acute care as part of an integrated service delivery model across Wellington Shire and beyond.
The service provides beds across three campuses (Sale, Maffra and Heyfield).
Acute services include a full-time emergency department, critical care unit, neonatal critical care unit, three operating theatres, day procedure unit, oncology and dialysis services in addition to general medical and services and sub-acute services including rehabilitation.
About the Role
The CGH Pharmacy Team is looking for an energetic and motivated pharmacist to join our team of clinical pharmacists, pharmacy technicians and pharmacy intern on a fixed term basis.
The successful applicant will work in a clinical capacity, rotating through acute wards and in the dispensary.




We are a small but dedicated team that values flexibility and commitment to our workplace within an ever changing and expanding health service.
The pharmacist will work weekdays as agreed.
Duties
Provision of varied pharmacy services to the hospital, patients and wider community
Ensure excellence in patient-centred care by ensuring medication safety principles are applied and optimising medication management to achieve the best outcomes for each patient
Qualifications, Skills and Experience
Current AHPRA Pharmacy Registration and Membership with a Professional Indemnity Insurance provider.
Communication skills to effectively interact with all levels of hospital staff.
Always having a patient focused approach, with a goal of achieving excellence in care.
Ability to be adaptable to work in a dynamic, fast-paced, and collaborative team environment.
