About the Role
We are currently seeking a Food Services Assistant (FSA) to join the team on a casual basis working both AM and PM shifts. Flexibility and availability for both shifts is required. The role is based in Kew.
Responsibilities
Make and prepare all short‐order food and drinks (including modified fluids).
Clean and wash patient meal trays and maintain kitchen hygiene.
Follow the food safety plan and all production schedules and demands.
Prepare sandwiches and salads on weekends.
Monitor waste management and ensure food stock levels are maintained.
Adhere to kitchen hygiene, food safety, and cleanliness standards, including thorough cleaning and sanitizing.
Qualifications & Skills
Food Safety Certificate HLTFSE001.
Previous experience in a commercial kitchen.
Previous experience in an Aged Care workplace (desirable).
Valid Nationally Coordinated Criminal History Check, or willingness to obtain one.
