Role Overview
The Staff Specialist – Consultant Psychiatrist will provide comprehensive Emergency Department Psychiatric Service, including services to the 6‐bed Mental Health Short Stay Unit. The role may involve working in any of the Adult Mental Health Services, including all inpatient services and associated facilities, as well as Community Care Team Districts.
Responsibilities
Full‐time, day work
On‐call component required
Provide emergency psychiatric assessment and treatment
Manage short‐stay inpatient care and community care transitions
Qualifications
Registered with AHPRA
Right to work in Australia
Clinical experience in acute psychiatric care
