This is a fantastic opportunity to join a highly regarded Mandurah-based survey firm and build your planning career alongside an experienced Land Development Manager.
In this permanent role, you'll support the preparation, coordination and progression of land development and subdivision applications through local government and the Western Australian Planning Commission, helping clients move from concept through approval, clearance and titles.
About the role
You'll work closely with the Land Development Manager, surveyors, clients, consultants, local authorities and state planning stakeholders to keep subdivision projects moving efficiently and professionally.
Assist with subdivision and land development applications from initial lodgement through to approval and clearance.
Prepare, review and coordinate planning documentation, reports, correspondence and supporting information.
Liaise with local government, the Western Australian Planning Commission and relevant service authorities.
Track application progress, conditions, deadlines and required actions to support timely approvals.
Assist with clearance of subdivision conditions and the process toward issuing titles.
Support clients and internal project teams with clear communication and practical planning advice.
About you
A degree in Town Planning, Urban and Regional Planning or a closely related discipline.
Some prior experience with subdivision, land development, planning applications or a related planning environment.
An understanding of WA planning processes, local government referrals and WAPC subdivision pathways.
Strong written communication skills and attention to detail.
Confidence liaising with clients, consultants and government stakeholders.
A proactive, organised and practical approach to getting applications progressed.
