We're working with Brisbane Veterinary Specialist Centre (BVSC), who are looking for a Veterinary Criticalist (Emergency & Critical Care Specialist) to join their expanding referral hospital in Brisbane.
This is an exciting opportunity for a board-certified specialist or residency-trained clinician nearing completion of their training who wants to play an active role in developing the Critical Care service, while enjoying a true weekday roster with no weekends or public holidays.
The Opportunity
You'll be joining a collaborative referral hospital alongside specialists in Internal Medicine, Surgery and Emergency, working together to provide exceptional care for complex referral and critical care cases.
As the Intensive Care service continues to grow, you'll have the opportunity to influence its direction, mentor clinicians, and help build a thriving Critical Care department.
The position can be tailored to suit full-time, part-time or consulting arrangements.
The Role
Manage complex emergency and critical care patients
Lead and develop the growing Intensive Care service
Work closely with specialists across multiple disciplines
Support and mentor emergency veterinarians and nursing staff
Build strong relationships with referring veterinarians
Contribute to the ongoing development of protocols and clinical standards

Multi-slice CT
Digital Radiography
High-end Ultrasound
Mechanical Ventilation
High-Flow Oxygen Therapy
Multiparameter Monitoring
Fluoroscopy
Laparoscopy
Arthroscopy
Full IDEXX in-house laboratory
You will be supported by an experienced team of specialists, emergency veterinarians, interns, residents and highly skilled referral nurses who are passionate about delivering exceptional patient care.

About You
You will be:
A Diplomate (ACVECC, ECVECC, FANZCVS ECC or equivalent), or
Residency-trained and approaching board certification
Eligible for veterinary registration in Queensland
Passionate about Emergency and Critical Care
Interested in mentoring, collaboration and developing a growing service
