The Opportunity Halcyon Knights is partnering with a Queensland-based organisation seeking an experienced Project Officer to support the delivery of a key business project.
This role is ideal for a highly organised and proactive professional with strong project coordination and administration experience.
You will work closely with project leaders and stakeholders to ensure project activities remain on track, governance requirements are met, and business engagement activities are effectively coordinated.
The successful candidate will be a confident communicator, comfortable engaging with senior leaders and managing competing priorities in a dynamic project environment.
Key Responsibilities
Coordinate project activities, schedules, milestones, and deliverables
Maintain project documentation, action registers, risk logs, and governance records
Prepare reports, presentations, briefing papers, and meeting materials
Support stakeholder engagement and communication activities
Coordinate project meetings, workshops, and working groups
Monitor project progress and follow up actions to ensure delivery deadlines are met
Assist with project reporting and performance tracking
Support change management and business engagement initiatives




Ensure project information and documentation remain accurate and up to date
About You To be successful in this role, you will demonstrate:
Previous experience as a Project Officer, Project Coordinator, or similar
Solid project administration and coordination skills
Advanced proficiency across the Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Teams
Experience preparing reports, presentations, project documentation, and stakeholder communications
Excellent organisational and time management skills
Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities
Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
Confidence engaging with stakeholders at all levels, including senior executives
Experience supporting business change or transformation initiatives
Exposure to Agile and/or Waterfall project delivery methodologies
