Job Description
About the Role
We'reseeking aSenior Associateto join ourPayment Operations team, playing a key role in deliveringaccurate, reliable, and high-quality payment services acrossAutomic'sShared Services function.
This role is well suited to someone who brings strong technical capability inpayment operations/fundaccountingandtax reporting, combined with sound judgement, an eye for detail, and a mindset focused on continuous improvement.This role willworkclosely with Associates, internal stakeholders, and clients to ensure payment processes are delivered with precision, consistency, and care
Keyresponsibilitiesinclude
Manage complex dividend and distribution services for listed and unlisted clients, ensuring payments areaccurateand compliant.




Oversee outbound payment approvals, including international transactions andsweeppayments.
Review and approve work completed by Associates, providing feedback and guidance to support development and consistency.
Assist with ATO reportinglodgements(AIIR,QTFN) and production of tax statements.
Identifyand mitigate operational risks while driving improvements to systems and processes.
Act as a key point of contact for clients and internal stakeholders, ensuring proactive communication and dependable service.
Desired Skills and Experience
You'llbring:
Bachelor's degree infinance,Accounting,Business Administration, or related field (preferred).
2+ years' experience inpayment processing,trust management, orregistry/fund operations.
Strong understanding oftax reporting requirementsandtrust distribution processes.
Proven experience reviewing work, managing approvals, and supporting team capability.
High attention to detail, analytical mindset, and ability to manage competing priorities.
Advanced Excelproficiencyand familiarity with workflow tools such as JIRA.
You'llbe part of a team whereoperational excellence, collaboration, and continuous improvementare genuinely valued.
