Key Responsibilities Welcoming patients and visitors to the practice in a skilled and courteous manner.
Answering a high volume of telephone calls and responding to patient enquiries.
Undertaking active triage and care navigation, assessing patient needs using practice protocols and directing them to the most appropriate clinician or healthcare service.
Booking, amending, and cancelling appointments efficiently.
Managing repeat prescription requests and administrative queries.
Processing patient registrations and maintaining accurate patient records.
Handling confidential information in accordance with GDPR and NHS policies.
Liaising effectively with GPs, nurses, pharmacists, and the wider practice team.
Supporting the smooth day-to-day running of the reception and administrative functions.
