About the position
Council's Corporate CommunicationDepartment is looking for an Internal Communications Officer.
The main responsibilities will include:
Develop and deliver internal communications - creating engaging, timely and accessible content across internal channels including organisation updates and staff campaigns
Write and finalise speech and presentation content for senior leaders and executive management
Create communication plans and strategies to support internal business unit
About you
A confident and engaging communicator with exceptional writing skills for diverse audiences.
Experience or understanding of the development of communications strategies.
An appropriate tertiary qualification in journalism, media, public relations or similar field.
