About the role:
Latrobe Private Hospital is seeking an experienced Anaesthetic Registered Nurse to join our Perioperative Team on a permanent part-time basis.
You will play a key role within a supportive team in ensuring high levels of patient care is provided.

A recent expansion of clinical services at La Trobe Private Hospital is helping us meet the growing healthcare needs of Melbourne's northern communities.

Key Responsibilities:
Prepare patients for surgery, prepare anaesthesia equipment, assist in anaesthesia administration
Provide patient care and recovery and monitor vital signs post‐op
Provide evidence-based care, ensuring patient and staff safety
Liaise with the multi‐disciplinary team
Contribute to productive theatre operations and positive patient flow outcomes
Current unrestricted registration with AHPRA and Working with Children's Check
Working rights within Australia
Minimum 2 years' experience in Anaesthetics and Recovery
Ability to work efficiently under pressure and adapt to changing clinical demands
Confidence to liaise with and support VMOs
Commitment to patient safety, quality improvement and clinical excellence
Excellent communication, teamwork and time management skills
Postgraduate qualification in Perioperative Nursing or working towards completion
Knowledge of ACORN standards and guidelines

If you are successful in the role, you will receive a salary based on your years of relevant registered nursing experience against the current Healthscope and VICNMA/ANMF- VIC Nurse and Midwives' -Enterprise Agreement****, a salary ranging from $
