About the Role
Reporting to the Payroll Manager, you will play an integral role in the delivery of accurate and timely payroll services for the organisation.
Working as part of a close knit team, you will be responsible for a broad range of payroll duties, including:
Processing the payroll for 400 + employees
Preparation, reconciliation and payment of superannuation and payroll tax
Calculating termination payments, redundancies, and long service leave entitlements
Working & interpreting various EBA's and Award




Responding to payroll related queries and providing exceptional employee support
Completing payroll reconciliations and reporting requirements
Maintaining payroll compliance and accuracy across all payroll activities
Identifying opportunities to improve and streamline payroll processes
Keeping up to date with legislative changes and payroll best practices
Other ad hoc payroll related duties
About You
To be successful in this position, you will be a knowledgeable payroll professional who enjoys working in a collaborative environment and takes pride in delivering accurate outcomes.
You will ideally possess:
Have proven prior experience within the payroll space (for a similar sized business / volume of employees)
Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills
A proactive, positive, and team-oriented attitude
Exceptional attention to detail and a high level of accuracy
Strong organisational skills with the ability to prioritise competing deadlines
A reliable and professional approach to your work
Intermediate Excel skills
