End User Desktop Support – FIFO Role

We are seeking an
End User Desktop Support professional
to provide hands-on IT support at a remote mining site.
This is a FIFO position with a
1 week on / 1 week off roster
.

Roster:
1 week at site / 1 week off in Adelaide
Shift:
Thursday to Wednesday
Hours:
12-hour shift
Key Responsibilities
Provide onsite
Level 1 IT and desktop support
Build, configure and deploy laptops and other IT hardware
Troubleshoot desktop hardware, applications and connectivity issues
Provide onsite
Unified Communications and meeting room support
Support desktop applications and assist users with technical queries
Provide
Guest Network support
Log, manage and resolve incidents and service requests through
ServiceNow/Service Desk
Track incidents through to resolution with resolver teams
Provide face-to-face updates to onsite users
Perform daily meeting room and technology diagnostic checks
Coordinate printer hardware, consumables and third-party maintenance
Manage hardware failures, replacement parts and physical hardware installation




Maintain IT asset records and onsite equipment
Perform other onsite IT support duties as required
About You
Experience in
Desktop Support / Service Desk / IT Support
Strong troubleshooting skills across hardware, software and applications
Comfortable providing
face-to-face onsite support
Experience with laptops, printers, meeting room technology and network connectivity
Familiarity with
ServiceNow or similar ITSM platforms
Strong communication and customer service skills
Comfortable working
12-hour shifts in a FIFO mining environment
Previous experience in a
remote/site-based or mining environment
is highly regarded
FIFO experience is preferred, but solid desktop support candidates with the right technical skills will also be considered.
