Your Role
We are seeking an Occupational Therapist to join our Allied Health team on a full-time fixed-term basis.
This is a excellent opportunity to work within a supportive multidisciplinary environment and gain experience across a diverse range of clinical areas.
You will work across acute and subacute inpatient services, rehabilitation and outpatient programs, supporting patients to achieve their functional goals and maximise independence throughout their care journey.
You will have 3 years' experience or greater in a relevant clinical setting and work collaboratively with patients, families and the multidisciplinary team to deliver high-quality, person-centred occupational therapy care.
The Position
Provide high-quality occupational therapy assessment and intervention to patients across inpatient and outpatient settings.
Complete comprehensive assessments of functional capacity, including personal care, domestic and community activities of daily living, cognitive function and physical function as appropriate.
Assess patients' needs and develop individualised treatment plans in collaboration with patients, families and the multidisciplinary team.
Provide evidence-based occupational therapy interventions and regularly review and progress treatment plans in line with patient goals and clinical needs.
Support patients to maximise independence, participation and quality of life throughout their rehabilitation journey.
Complete functional and environmental assessments, including home assessments where required.
What You Will Bring
A tertiary qualification in Occupational Therapy.
Current registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA).
Experience working within a healthcare setting, with exposure to acute, subacute, rehabilitation or outpatient services highly regarded.
Strong assessment, clinical reasoning and treatment planning skills.
The ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team.
A commitment to delivering person-centred, evidence-based care.
Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with patients, families and colleagues.
A willingness to contribute to quality improvement and the ongoing development of clinical services.
A current Australian Driver's Licence.

Salary $72,992 to $117,553 per annum plus 12% superannuation
