Salt has partnered with a leading global fintech payments organisation to recruit for a Reconciliation & Reporting Analyst (Post Transactions).
This is an excellent chance to join a high-performing team responsible for ensuring the accuracy, integrity, and reporting of financial transactions across a complex payments ecosystem.
As a Reconciliation & Reporting Analyst, you'll reconcile transaction, settlement, and banking data across multiple sources, investigate discrepancies, support month-end reporting, and help build automated solutions that improve financial controls and operational efficiency.
Key Responsibilities
Perform daily, weekly, and monthly reconciliations across payment networks, processors, banking partners, and internal systems.
Investigate and resolve reconciliation breaks and exceptions.
Develop and maintain SQL-based reporting and reconciliation processes.
Support month-end close with reporting, reconciliations, and audit documentation.
Monitor settlement and funding activities, identifying risks and anomalies.
Partner with Engineering, Product, Treasury, Accounting, and Compliance teams to improve processes and controls.
Contribute to KPI reporting, automation initiatives,



and continuous improvement.
About You
5+ years' experience in reconciliation, payments operations, finance, accounting, or a related analytical role (Ideally within fintech or banking)
Must have excellent communication skills and experience in Australian fintech or banking industry.
Must have Strong SQL, BI/reporting platforms (Looker, Tableau) and advanced Excel skills.
Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.
Experience within payments, card schemes, settlements, or financial services is a must!
Must be in either Sydney or Melbourne location
