Girls Volleyball Assistant Coach
Requirements: Applicants must have the following:
Experience Coaching Girls Volleyball
Valid Driver's License
Clear Criminal History Check
Position Overview
Experience with coaching Volleyball
Strong interpersonal, organizational, communication and leadership skills
Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with staff, students, parents, officials and members of the Herron community, and City Alliance Members
Performance Goal
A Successful Candidate
Will work with the Head Coach to establish and lead a successful Volleyball Program that includes the development of self-discipline, character, teamwork, leadership, world-class citizenship, responsibility, academic excellence and character formation
Serves as an example of exceptional skilled conduct and be mindful of their representation of South Spencer High School




Encourages student participation and manage the successful day-to-day operations of the Volleyball Program
Work with Head Coach to run try-outs to build a successful program
Practices occur after school or before school and coach must be on time for each practice and performance
Follows and support the South Spencer Handbook
Supports the mission of South Spencer High School
Attends athletic, all-school, IHSAA and City Coaching meetings, events and professional development, as directed by the South Spencer High School Athletic Administration
Salary
There is a stipend included with this position.
This position does not come with a teaching position within South Spencer High School.
