About the Role
Protech is currently seeking motivated and reliable Civil Road Maintenance & Construction Workers for ongoing infrastructure projects across regional and remote Queensland.
These roles offer the opportunity to work across a variety of road and infrastructure projects, including road construction, maintenance, bridge and culvert works, electrical assets, and line marking operations.
We are looking for candidates who enjoy hands‐on outdoor work, can work as part of a team, and are willing to travel for project requirements.
Duties May Include
Road construction and upgrades
Bridge, culvert and structure maintenance
Concrete repairs and formwork activities
Earthworks and pavement maintenance
Traffic sign and roadside asset maintenance
Vegetation control and drainage works
Asphalt and sealing operations
Traffic signal and street lighting maintenance
Line marking and traffic guidance installation
Emergency response and repair works
General labouring and civil construction tasks
Essential Requirements
Current Driver Licence
Construction White Card
Ability to work away from home on remote projects
Availability to work day and night shifts as required
Ability to pass a Pre‐Employment Medical and Drug & Alcohol Screening
Ability to attend the Protech office for onboarding and compliance requirements
Highly Regarded
MR Licence or higher
Trade background (Carpentry, Building, Concreting or similar)
Civil construction, road maintenance or infrastructure experience
Additional machinery tickets and licences
Experience working within operational road corridors
