The Company A well-established FMCG manufacturer with a long history in the Australian market, producing and supplying essential food products and ingredients at scale.
With a national footprint across manufacturing and distribution, the business partners closely with customers and suppliers to deliver reliable, high-quality products to both commercial and consumer channels.
The Role The People Culture Business Partner will lead workforce transformation and change initiatives, designing engagement programs aligned to the company's strategy.
You'll coach senior leaders, manage employee relations, and build a high-performance culture.
Partnering with key stakeholders, you'll provide strategic HR advice and develop policies, processes, and talent management initiatives.
Key responsibilities include: Lead organisational development and talent programs aligned to business goals (workforce planning, capability, succession, rewards, DEI) Drive annual people processes: goal setting, performance reviews, career development and reward cycles; facilitate leader workshops Coach leaders and line managers on people leadership, performance management, engagement, and ER/IR compliance Champion employee engagement and culture initiatives using survey insights to improve the employee experience Provide expert employee relations support, including investigations,
performance/grievance matters, disputes, and interpretation of industrial instruments Partner with stakeholders to deliver change initiatives and people projects that support strategic objectives (including international collaboration) The Person You'll be degree-qualified in Business/Commerce with a major in HR and/or Industrial Relations and bring solid HR generalist experience with strengths in workforce strategy, organisational development and talent management.
You'll ideally have experience in FMCG, food production or manufacturing environments, and a proven track record delivering change management, engagement initiatives, learning and development, and communications.
You'll have strong ER/IR capability and a sound working knowledge of Australian employment legislation (NES, Up-to-date Awards and enterprise bargaining).
Confident partnering with senior leaders, you'll build trust quickly and influence effectively through coaching and mentoring, bringing a commercial, data-driven and analytical approach to decision-making in fast-paced, matrixed organisations.
