About the Opportunity
As part of a multidisciplinary team the Nurse Educator is responsible for the development, facilitation, implementation and evaluation of educational, professional development programs/resources and strategies for aggression prevention and intervention.
Areas of accountability will include leadership, development, implementation and review of quality and safety initiatives, the setting of clinical standards, policy development and change management.
The Nurse Educator – Management of Aggression Training practises within their scope of practise considerate of the Nursing and Midwifery Board's Nursing Practice Decision Flowchart.
Whilst this selection process will initially be used to fill the above vacancy, applicants found suitable for this position may be considered for other 'similar' vacancies withinEMHSand/or the wider WA public sector.
In addition to this, should the successful applicant decline or vacate the advertised vacancy, then the next most suitable applicant may also be selected from this process.Both of theseoptionsremainvalid for a period of twelve (12) months from when the authorised delegate endorses the recruitment decision.
