Full-time, permanent with Base salary in the range of $97,268 - $104,348 + 17% super (HEW Level 6)

Join a supportive team that plays a critical role in shaping the student experience at UQ.
As the Senior Administration Officer within ASD Admissions team, you will help coordinate the delivery of admissions services, ensuring applications are assessed accurately, processes run efficiently, and stakeholders receive expert advice and support.
Working closely with the Manager and Senior Coordinator, you'll be at the centre of a fast-paced environment where no two days are the same, acting as a key escalation point for complex admissions matters, supporting continuous improvement initiatives, and helping future students take their first step towards studying at UQ.
December and January are our busiest months, making this an exciting time to join the team.
To help us deliver a great experience during this peak period, we're looking for candidates who can offer flexibility and are generally available across December and January, with limited pre-planned leave commitments.
Key responsibilities will include
Supporting workflow management across the Domestic Undergraduate and Medicine Admissions team.
Providing expert advice and guidance on admissions policies, procedures and complex student administration matters to a range of stakeholders.
Assessing and overseeing admissions processes to ensure applications are processed accurately, consistently and in line with University requirements.
Leading quality assurance, and process documentation initiatives that strengthen operational effectiveness and service delivery.
Building strong relationships across Faculties, Schools and external stakeholders while supporting major admissions and recruitment activities, including Open Day and other student-facing events.
About You
An undergraduate degree with subsequent relevant experience, or an equivalent combination of relevant experience and/or education and training.
Experience interpreting and applying policies and procedures, ideally in admissions, student administration or another regulated service environment.
Well-developed interpersonal,



negotiation and conflict resolution skills, with the ability to build trusted stakeholder relationships and deliver a high standard of customer service.
High-level written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to analyse information and data, prepare reports and procedures, and provide transparent advice.
Strong digital literacy, including confidence using Microsoft Office and the ability to quickly learn corporate systems, while exercising tact, discretion and confidentiality.
