Position: Truck Driver (General) Position Type : Full time Salary: $79,500 to $90,000 plus superannuation per annum Location: Shepparton East VIC **** Our client specialises in long-haul freight, linehaul transport, and warehousing solutions and is seeking an experienced Truck Driver to work across the Goulburn Valley region including Shepparton East, Victoria Key Duties and Responsibilities: ·Drive and operate trucks.
·Follow instructions; locate and read location and road maps.
·Pre-inspect truck.
·Pick up goods and materials, verify loads for accuracy, and deliver them as instructed.
·Load and unload cargo.
·Responsible for basic vehicle maintenance; comply with all safe work practices, policies, and processes always.
·Complete and verify paperwork with accuracy.
·Comply with all laws and legislation regarding trucks as well as comply with company's policies and procedures.




·Update job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities, reading professional publications, maintaining personal networks, and participating in professional organizations.
Requirements: ·AQF Certificate II or III in relevant field OR at least one year of relevant experience may substitute for the formal qualifications ·Valid Heavy Vehicle Licence ·At least 12 months relevant experience as a Truck Driver ·Experience transporting general and palletised freight using heavy vehicle combinations, including semi-trailers and B-doubles.
·No DUI/DWI convictions in the past seven (7) years ·Ability to lift 80 pounds repeatedly throughout day ·Traffic laws/ DOT regulations/ driving knowledge ·Clean driving record.
