Brake Press Operator Rolling Machine Operator Our client is looking for a Brake Press and Rolling Machine Operator to join their busy workshop team in Welshpool.
Location: Welshpool Type: Temp-Perm Casual Hourly Rate: $40-$48 (negotiable depending on experience) Hours: Monday – Friday | 06:*****:00 | 14:*****:00 (Friday RDO or 14:*****:00) Overtime: Potential Saturday morning if required Brake Press Operator Key Responsibilities: Read and interpret engineering drawings, job cards and specifications Set up, program and operate press brake machinery Measure and mark steel plate for bending Calculate and set bend dimensions, angles and machine settings Work with steel plate up to 80mm Inspect completed components to ensure they meet specifications Monitor machinery and assist with maintenance as required Maintain a secure, clean and tidy work area Roller Machine Operator Key Responsibilities: Read and interpret engineering drawings,



job cards and specifications Set up and operate plate and section rolling machines Calculate and set rolling dimensions, radii and angles Roll heavy steel plate into cylinders, cones and other curved components Perform section rolling, plate straightening and transitions where required Work with steel plate up to 80mm Inspect completed components to ensure they meet specifications Monitor machinery and assist with maintenance as required Maintain a safe, clean and tidy work area Requirements: 5 years experience Worked with plates between 5mm and 30mm Forklift License Previous use of overhead cranes is essential.
