We are seeking an experienced Alternate Underground Manager to join a well-established underground gold operation in Western Australia.
This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced underground mining professional looking to take a senior leadership role within a high-grade gold operation.
The Role Provide leadership and operational support to the Underground Manager Oversee safe and productive underground mining operations Lead underground supervisors, crews and contractors Drive production, development and operational performance Monitor performance against mine plans and production targets Ensure compliance with statutory, safety and environmental requirements Work closely with Technical Services, Geology,



Engineering and Maintenance teams Support continuous improvement and optimisation of underground operations Deputise for the Underground Manager as required About You Underground mining management experience in a senior leadership capacity Strong production and development experience Previous experience in underground hard-rock mining , preferably gold Strong understanding of underground mining methods, safety and statutory compliance Proven ability to lead and develop large underground teams Strong communication, planning and problem-solving skills WA Underground Supervisor's Certificate of Competency or equivalent Previous experience as an Alternate Underground Manager, Underground Manager, Senior Mining Engineer or Underground Superintendent will be highly regarded What's on Offer 8:6 FIFO roster from Perth Permanent opportunity Competitive remuneration package Opportunity to join a growing underground gold operation Senior leadership position with genuine career progression Experience 8+ years' underground mining experience, with at least 2–3 years in a senior supervisory/management capacity.
