Our valued client are seeking an experienced and highly skilled Design Manager to join their growing business to work on Class 2 Residential projects.
They are in a very strong position as a business with multiple recent projects wins.
They have a mixture of Head Office Site Based roles but delivery experience is a must and you must have experience of working for a builder or builder/developer.
Responsibilities: Manage and oversee the pre-construction design activities across multiple construction projects Collaborate with clients, project managers, architects, engineers, and contractors to ensure the project will run timely and cost-effective Review project specifications and contracts to identify design requirements and constraints Advise on project design schedules and budgets Ensure compliance with project specifications, contracts, and applicable regulations Advise on buildability and methodology Monitor project progress and update senior management on key milestones and potential issues Identify and resolve design-related issues and escalate issues to senior management as needed Ensure that project design records and documents are accurate and up-to-date Provide regular updates to senior management on project design status,
