I'm partnering with a well-established and highly regarded national fashion retailer to recruit an experienced Area Manager to lead a portfolio of stores across South East Melbourne .
This is a parental leave contract with the potential to extend, offering the opportunity to join a business with a strong brand presence, a people-first culture, and exciting growth plans.
About the Role Reporting to the Regional Manager, you'll be responsible for leading and developing a portfolio of stores, partnering closely with Store Managers to maximise sales, elevate customer experience, and build high-performing teams.
This role is ideal for a commercially minded retail leader who enjoys being hands-on, coaching leaders to success, and making a tangible impact across multiple locations.
Location: South East Melbourne Employment Type: Full-time Salary: $75,000-$85,000 + Super (depending on experience) Car Allowance: $10,000 per annum Key Responsibilities Lead, coach and develop a portfolio of Store Managers to achieve exceptional commercial results.
Drive sales growth, profitability and operational excellence across your region.
Analyse performance metrics and implement strategic action plans.
Foster a positive, engaged and high-performing team culture.
Champion outstanding customer experiences and consistent brand execution.




Support talent development, succession planning and recruitment across the region.
Ensure stores are operating to the highest standards in compliance, presentation and performance.
About You To be successful, you'll bring: Proven experience in a multi-site retail leadership role.
A strong track record of delivering sales and operational results.

Strong commercial acumen and the ability to interpret business performance.
