You will be the first point of contact for visitors with the primary role of providing an outstanding level of visitor servicing and guided tour experiences, sharing and promoting the story of Mount Gambier in the land of the volcanoes, caves, sinkholes and crater lakes.The role involves administrative assistance including supporting and assisting with service delivery, effective display of information and merchandise, maximising revenue opportunities, and assisting with delivery of Council's strategic tourism outcomes within the visitor servicing area, with a focus on digital storytelling, social media and creative services.An opportunity to work with a passionate and dedicated team to encourage visitors to stay longer, spend more and promote Mount Gambier as a desirable destination.
**Availability to work outside of standard working hours and weekend work is a requirement of this position**
