About the Home
Our delightful and modern care home is situated in the green, leafy suburb of St Ives on the Upper North Shore of Sydney.
Conveniently positioned on Mona Vale road the home is a central location to connect with the Northern Beaches, Wahroonga and Sydney CBD.
It consists of 98 beds, with a variety of care units.
Our primary goal is placing our focus on the health, lifestyle and well-being of our residents.

About the Role
Use your fantastic catering skills in a role where you really can make a difference.
Provide our residents with an empathetic and personal approach.
We have a variety of Full-Time, Part-Time and Casual vacancies.
Duties
Assist with basic food prep
Provide meals and snacksClear dining areas and dishwashing
Maintain legislated food hygiene and safety practices
Ad hoc support to the broader team as required, including laundry and cleaning
Skills and Experience
Cert III Hospitality highly regarded
Aged care experience highly regarded but not essential
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
An understanding of Resident Rights, Aged Care Accreditation Standards and Outcomes

IMPORTANT: All aged care workers must be vaccinated against seasonal influenza, and have the relevant COVID and Booster vaccinations in line with State legislation.
Evidence of these vaccinations will be required prior to commencement.

As part of the NDIS scheme, employees working within a NDIS facility, in a risk assessed role, must have a completed NDIS check.
This is part of compliance and needs to be completed prior to commencement – successful applicants will have this cost reimbursed upon commencement.
