About the Organisation
This newly created position offers the chance to play a key role in strengthening payroll governance, compliance controls and audit outcomes within a large, respected organisation.
Working closely with Payroll, HR and Finance, you will act as a trusted subject matter expert, helping ensure payroll operations remain compliant, efficient and audit ready.

Key Responsibilities
Monitor and assess payroll compliance across awards, enterprise agreements and legislation
Conduct detailed payroll reviews to identify potential risks, discrepancies and control weaknesses
Coordinate payroll audit activities
Assist in developing and strengthening governance frameworks and internal controls
Provide guidance and recommendations to stakeholders across Payroll, HR and Finance
Support payroll system enhancements and process optimisation projects
About You
Extensive payroll experience within complex payroll environments
Strong understanding of payroll legislation, awards and enterprise agreements
A genuine interest in governance and compliance
Excellent analytical and investigation skills
Ability to identify risks and opportunities for improvement
Strong stakeholder management and communication capabilities
Previous exposure to Audits, payroll remediation, audit reviews or compliance projects highly regarded
Knowledge of iChris and/or UKG advantageous
