About the position
Council's Corporate CommunicationsDepartment is looking for a Communications Officer.
The main responsibilities will include:
Deliver strategic communications and campaigns that support Council's priorities, projects and initiatives
Create compelling content and manage media opportunities to bring Council and community stories to life
Project manage Council's suite of publications, delivering high-quality content that informs and connects our community
About you
Strong commitment and ability to work in a highly customer-focused team culture
Substantial experience in journalism, media and communications or public relations
Hold an appropriate tertiary qualification in journalism, media, public relations or similar field

This position is aBand 6currently remunerated at$100,******per annum,



plus superannuation.
Overtime will also be paid as required.
