About the Role We are expanding our Environmental Services Assistant (ESA) Pool and are seeking experienced, reliable and team-focused ESAs to provide high-quality support to patients, visitors and colleagues.
ESAs play an key role in maintaining a clean, safe and hygienic hospital environment.
Working across clinical and non-clinical areas, you will support infection control through cleaning, waste management, linen services and safe work practices.
What makes this opportunity different?
This is permanent part-time employment with guaranteed contracted hours every fortnight.
As a Pool ESA,



you will be based at one Monash Health location, you will not be required to work across multiple sites.
While there is no set or fixed roster, you will have guaranteed hours each fortnight and will be rostered across the available morning, afternoon, evening and/or night shifts at your nominated location.
This provides the security of permanent part-time employment, where every fortnight is different!
We have opportunities available at: Victorian Heart Hospital – Clayton - Guaranteed 40 hours per fortnight Monash Medical Centre – Clayton - Guaranteed 48 hours per fortnight Dandenong Hospital - Guaranteed 60 hours per fortnight Bring your ESA experience, we'll equip you with the site-specific knowledge and training to hit the ground running!
About You You will ideally have experience in hospital, aged care, healthcare or commercial cleaning, with knowledge of infection control, safety and hygiene practices.
You will have strong communication skills, a reliable and flexible approach, and enjoy working as part of a team.
