THE OPPORTUNITY You'll become part of a market-leading M A practice advising clients on transactions that are often complex, cross-border and commercially significant.
Your work will include: Private M A transactions, including acquisitions and divestments Advising private equity funds, financial sponsors and trading houses on Australian investments Corporate restructures Joint ventures and strategic alliances Takeovers and demergers Venture capital transactions Complex and multi-jurisdictional transactions You'll work with leading listed and private companies as well as sophisticated financial sponsors across sectors including financial services, energy resources and infrastructure.
The Brisbane team works closely with the firm's wider Australian and international Corporate practices,



providing genuine exposure to cross-border transactions and the opportunity to develop an international M A practice from Brisbane.
THE IDEAL CANDIDATE We are looking for a Senior Associate with strong private M A experience gained within a leading top-tier, national or international firm.
You'll ideally bring: Demonstrable experience across sophisticated private M A transactions Strong technical drafting and negotiation skills The ability to manage complex, large-scale transactions from start to finish Excellent attention to detail and strong matter management skills An excellent academic record A commercially minded and client-focused approach The ability to work collaboratively within a high-performing team A genuine interest in continuing to develop within a market-leading M A practice An interest in AI, emerging technologies and innovation within the legal sector WHY THIS OPPORTUNITY?
