14th August, **** Production Operator – Forklift PVC Pipe Handling Location: Caringbah Industry: Plastics Manufacturing Employment Type: Casual with pathway to full-time Roster: 12-hour rotating shifts – 7-day cycle Rate: $***** per hour annualised rate Join a Leading Plastics Manufacturer Are you an experienced Forklift Driver or Production Operator looking for a long-term opportunity with an established plastics manufacturer?
We are seeking a reliable, hands-on operator to join a busy manufacturing team in Caringbah.
This is a material handling and quality-focused role , working with continuous-length PVC pipe and supporting the final stages of production.
You'll complete one week of paid day-shift training before moving onto the structured 12-hour rotating roster, with a genuine pathway to permanent full-time employment.
About the Role Working as part of the production team, you will be responsible for the safe handling, inspection and preparation of finished PVC pipe products.
Your duties will include: Operating a forklift to move and handle PVC pipe and materials Taking finished continuous-length PVC pipe off the production line Conducting final visual inspections to ensure products meet quality standards Checking finished pipe for defects, damage and presentation Measuring and checking product specifications where required Safely stacking,
handling and preparing finished products for packaging and dispatch Packaging finished products and assisting with crate assembly Completing basic fabrication and general hands-on material handling duties Conducting quality checks and recording results Identifying and reporting product defects, faults or production issues Maintaining a clean, organised and safe work area Following all WHS, quality and environmental procedures About You To be successful, you will have: Current forklift licence and practical forklift experience Experience in manufacturing, warehousing, plastics or a similar hands-on environment Strong attention to detail and a focus on quality Experience handling long, bulky or manufactured products is highly regarded Ability to safely perform repetitive manual and material handling tasks Experience working 12-hour shifts is highly desirable Reliable attendance and a strong work ethic Ability to follow procedures and work safely as part of a team A positive attitude and willingness to learn What's on Offer $***** per hour annualised rate 12-hour rotating roster across a 7-day cycle One week of paid day-shift training Ongoing casual employment with a pathway to permanent full-time Stable, long-term chance with an established manufacturer Hands-on role with a good mix of forklift driving, material handling and quality inspection Supportive team setting and ongoing training If you're a reliable forklift operator or hands-on production worker looking for stability, good earning potential and a long-term opportunity, we'd like to hear from you.
