CELOTTI WORKFORCE is currently seeking an experienced Float Driver for an immediate start in Luscombe, QLD.
This is a Monday to Friday role primarily involving the transportation and movement of plant and machinery across Brisbane and surrounding areas.
You may also be required to travel to projects in Cairns and Cadia, generally around once a fortnight, with the potential for this to increase as workload grows.
When machinery movements are not required, you will assist with general duties in the workshop.
Key Responsibilities: Transport and move civil construction machinery and equipment between projects.
Complete pre-start checks and ensure vehicles and machinery are transported safely.
Travel throughout Brisbane and occasionally to regional project locations including Cairns and Cadia.
Secure and unload machinery in accordance with safety requirements.
Assist with general workshop duties when not moving machinery.
Maintain a high standard of safety and comply with all workplace procedures.
Stay overnight in the truck cab when required for regional travel.
Our Ideal Candidate: Previous experience as a Float Driver or transporting heavy plant and machinery.
Appropriate heavy vehicle licence and experience operating float/trailer combinations.
Experience transporting civil construction equipment.
Robust understanding of load restraint and heavy vehicle safety requirements.
Current Construction White Card.
Reliable,

Flexible to travel and stay away overnight when required.
