This is an excellent opportunity for a Real Estate lawyer to join one of Australia's leading Real Estate Development practices and work on some of the most complex and interesting transactions in the market.
Based in Brisbane, you'll work closely with a range of Partners and lawyers across multiple offices, advising major clients across sectors including government, healthcare, infrastructure, banking, media and private capital.
The team offers genuine breadth, allowing you to build a strong foundation across sophisticated real estate matters while developing your own areas of interest and specialisation.
What You'll Be Working On You'll advise on a broad range of significant real estate transactions and projects, including: Major commercial developments, urban renewal and infrastructure projects; Office towers, industrial facilities, build-to-rent and mixed-use precincts; Renewable energy projects; Acquisitions and disposals across commercial, retail, industrial, residential and hotel assets; Sale and leaseback transactions; Tourist resorts and mixed-use developments; Joint venture and co-ownership arrangements; Major leasing transactions and lease negotiations; Real estate aspects of M A transactions; and Subdivisions, enforcement of securities and property financing matters.
You'll have the opportunity to manage matters autonomously while working collaboratively with experienced Partners and lawyers across the broader practice.
You'll also be encouraged to participate in business development through client pitches, industry events, articles and seminars, while continuing to develop your own profile and network.
About You We're interested in speaking with lawyers who have:
Experience within a Real Estate or Property practice at a reputable law firm; Experience across the acquisition, development and sale of real estate assets; A combination of private practice and in-house experience will also be considered; The ability to manage matters autonomously and as part of a team; Strong commercial and relationship-building skills; and A genuine desire to continue learning, developing and building their career within a leading practice.
